Kwame jnr thinks NASPA needs to wear a new face. A face that will wet the appetite of service personnel and those ready to serve. Below are his policies which he believes will make NASPA transform.

Policy 1. Rewarding NSPs

National Service Personnel at post work so hard they deserve special rewards for their love for service. This will be in the form of the formation of Awards and Dinner Committee The committee will be mandated to organise a credible awards scheme that will reward the nominated persons at a dinner ceremony to be attended by all NSPs in the Metro.

Policy 2 Preparing NSPs for life after service.

The order of the day is for graduates to finish their year of service and join the unemployed graduates association. With Numerous opportunities available, NSPs in Kumasi Metro will be well positioned for life after NSS.

i Microsoft office literacy workshop

ii Developing Hand Skills
Workshops will be organised to train Interested NSPs on how to make liquid soaps and shower gels, install decoders, epoxy, biogas disgester, bead making, makeup artistry et all.
With these various certified hand skills, the vision of Kwame Jnr to prevent graduate unemployment within the Kumasi Metro can be achieved.

iii Scholarship for Masters and Further Studies opportunities.

Numerous universities outside Africa and within the continent provide opportunities for students to pursue higher learning. How to know and when to apply for these Universities is what makes the difference. Experts will be invited as Resource Persons to educate NSPs in the Metro on how to apply for studies abroad on fully paid, partly paid and with job opportunities in these Universities.

Policy 3 Kumasi Metro Business Pitch

In support of the 1 District 1 Factory, the government provides assistance and cash to support business ideas that can transform lives in the society and employ individuals. Let us vote for Kwame Jnr Essumang No1 on the ballot for NASPA President

Policy 8 Purchasing of Backup Plant for the Secretariat

Issues with uploading details of personal for the timely releasing of the monthly allowance can be heightened when the office faces power outages during working hours. This backup plant will go a long way to assist the secretariat in executing their duties in the best interest of the service personnel in the metro.

Policy 9 See something say something

With the latest exposé on sex for grades scandal by BBC, the NASPA Kumasi Metro will not take chances with “Sex for Upgrades” in the Metro. Through the office of the Women’s Commissioner, a support group will be set to help protect the ladies especially from some of these happenings. So if you See something, say something to protect our ladies.

The above policies are the first ever thing to happen to NASPA. Especially eiwi the business development and awards.

We think if voted for, may change and bring a face for NASPA….

A YEAR ON! KNUST Demo At 1

Published

On this day in 2018, The Kelvin Sah led SRC and the entire students body boycotted lectures to demonstrate against school authorities. The rest was history.

The Unthinkable Unfolded Before Our Eyes,
This Was Not Meant To Happen,
This Could Not Happen,
This Happened.
A Peaceful Demonstration Turned Into Something Else.

I was sad not because students exercised their franchise for positive radicalism but I was sad that deliberate perpetrators were allowed to trick students to think that was the only acceptable end. What an end-to-end transaction process it became. Some cashed out big! Don’t ask who.

“It’s the little things that matter”- What women mean

Published

Mr Sir, grab a pen and paper. You are about to get schooled.

Yeah, we’ve been dating for a hot minute and we know each other pretty well by now. I know about that scar on your inner thigh that you got in high school when you tried jumping the school fence. You have promised me the world and far beyond it sweetie, the grand gestures are amazing. But do you know what will make me fall more in love with you? The little things.

The little things matter, everyone knows the phrase. And by little things I mean gestures not other things. The little things generally mean the things that you picked up on while getting to know me. For instance, remembering how I like my coffee, black with two sugars. Or how I prefer my stew to sit on top of my rice instead of on the side.

These things, though small mean the world to a woman. It shows that you really took your time to get to know me, including the minutiae. It also shows that you are in it for the long run, if it was a hit and quit situation you wouldn’t even bother knowing my name. So Mr Sir as you sit in the office wondering if you really know your woman, don’t despair. It’s never too late for you to cherish her and show her how much she means to you.

Like I said previously, we appreciate grand gestures, buying me a Range Rover? Fantastic. A vacation to the Maldives? Even better. We appreciate all that, but what really knocks our heart muscles and has us disgustingly in love with you is sending us random texts throughout the day, or a meme of something you know we like. Better yet, buying me my favourite candy on the way home or playing my favourite song when I’m in the car with you. See? Its that simple, all you need to do is pay attention to your woman.

I’m gonna let you in on a little secret, a good morning /good night text can have your woman smiling like a crack head. That’s it, a simple ‘hey baby, good morning, have a great day at work’ will have her smiling and damn near ready to take over the world.

So, if you haven’t sent that good morning text yet, do it now. Immediately!

Another thing, if you’re going to be busy the whole day and won’t have time to talk to your woman it’s just nice to let her know. Our minds spiral into unbelievable conclusions, she could be sitting there thinking you don’t want her anymore especially if the relationship is in its infancy stage. And because I have to give you lads everything, here’s a template text, you can copy paste it if you like. ‘Hey baby, good morning, I’m gonna have a hectic day at work, might not be able to text you during the day. But I’ll be thinking about you, my love. Have a good day.’

It’s the little things, fellas!
