Singer, Sister Derby, is not happy with news making the rounds that a tweet she put up on Saturday, February 2, was a diss against her ex-boyfriend, Medikal.

Sister Derby had tweeted, “That your boy dierrr, falaa boss,” which has been loosely interpreted as the ‘boy is cheap’.

News websites ran the story that she was referring to Medikal but the ‘Pure Water’ singer says the tweet was taken out of context as it is a line in a song.

Using Twitter again to explain herself, Sister Derby said she has and will never insult her ex (Medikal). She added that, if nothing about what ensued between her and the AMG rapper did not cause her to insult him after the breakup, she didn’t see why she should start now.

In the tweet, Sister Derby said there are people who want to see she and her ex-fight over their breakup but that will never happen.

Below is the tweet:

Sister Derby and Medikal were together for some years before the relationship ended last year. She released Kakalika Love, shortly after the breakup and the song, seen as a diss against Medikal, has blown up.

The Uncle Obama singer said Kakalika Love had opened up new opportunities for her and last year, she was busy during the Christmas season giving performances at many shows.

Sister Derby, who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Publishing Studies from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, said this year is going to be quite busy for her since she has a lot of projects up her sleeves.

Stephanie Benson has joined the list of celebrities who don’t see why they should go to church.

According to the mother of five, people interpret the Bible differently so she would rather sit home and read it herself so she understands it in her own way.

According to Stephanie, she does not attend church as many Ghanaians do on the Sabbath.

In an interview on Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix, she revealed that she is not a Christian hence sees no need in worshipping with any church body.

She was however quick to add that she believes in God even though she is not a Christian.

I am not a Christian but I believe in God and I don’t go to church,“she said.

According to the Jazz singer, she would not attend church in order for a priest to preach to her about how she should live her life as a human being because she believes in only what God says.

I don’t go to church because i don’t believe in somebody telling me how I should be and how I shouldn’t, i believe only in God and what he says and his words,“she continued.

According to the mother of five, people interpret the Bible differently so she would rather sit home and read it herself so she understands it in her own way.

“I don’t want someone’s interpretation to dictate how I should live my life on this planet,“she added.

The ‘One More’ singer later advised the public to do the right thing instead of dressing to church and still continue with their wrong deeds.

It looks like the Moesha is trading her sexually provocative outfits for our very indigenous styles.

Take us to church diva! Critics should be silent on this as popular Ghanaian actress, Moesha Boduong serves us some stunning and decent outfit which is totally parallel to the leotards and skimpy dresses she is noted for.

The actress brought some elegance to the very indigenous Ghanaian style, Kaba and slit in her recent photos she posted on her Instagram page and we are in awe already.  Let us just say ‘Kaba and slit’ is the new ‘sexy’.

What is Kaba? If you don’t know, don’t worry it is not naivety. It is a popular top in West Africa that is often dressed with the bottom half, the slit. Made from African print (ntoma), it is usually associated with the old.

Moesha Budong proves she is multifaceted and all rounded when it comes to style and fashion. That is what a fashionista is made of; versatility and we adore Moesha for that.
